from the eastern of the 3 exits off I-80
turn right at the exit ramp onto Hilltop Road
or
if you are in the town of Battle Mountain drive east on the main street until you go over I-80 and
continue south on Hilltop Road
go
south on Hilltop Road for about 3 miles
go past the airport on your left.
turn
right on Presidential Blvd.
go
about 2 miles to the west
turn
right on 1600 E Street
go
about 1 mile north to 1569 1600 E Street
This
is a white house with blue trim on the left side of the road. There are barking dogs behind
a fence across the street from this house
DIRECTIONS TO SAGE VALLEY
from
the town of Battle Mountain
you can continue south on Hilltop Road
for about 20 miles and you will be at Sage Valley
This
is a dirt road that is normally passable in a normal car as long as it is not too low. This
road is closed in the winter.
Year round access to Sage Valley is via Crescent Valley.
From Battle Mountain you can hop on I-80 going east
travel about 25 miles to the
Beowawe Exit
Go south on Highway 306
(a paved road) for
about 20 miles to the village of
Crescent Valley
continue south for 5 miles past the village
where you will see a large wooden sign
on the right side of the road that says
"HILLTOP ROAD"
turn right here
and
drive about 7 or 8 miles into the mountains.
This is a maintained dirt road that is passable by almost any kind of car.
Heavy rains or heavy snow may limit access to 4x4's a few days out of the year.
When you get to the cattle guard across the road
you are
in
SAGE VALLEY
