"The Indian River"

We have 1000 feet of frontage on the Indain River.  It is on a 30 mile canoe route and 1 mile from Black Lake.  This section is canoeable for 1 mile without a portage.

"The Beaver Pond"

There is much more woodland than water at Many Oaks.  It is approximately 10 to 20% open fields and meadows, 15% wetlands, 5% water and 60 to 70% mixed hardwoods.

Mission Statement

The Many Oaks Forest Preserve, Inc. is a not-for-profit membership type corporation.  It was incorporated to preserve land and earth knowledge.  At the foundation of the organization are the Peace Principles as practiced by traditional socities.

Membership

The cost of a membership in this corporation is $4000.00 with $400.00 yearly dues.  All members have equal rights to use the land and contribute to the direction that the corporation takes.

Northern New York

The first parcel that we have purchased is a tract of 550 acres in Northern New York near the Thousand Islands and the St. Lawrence River.  The photos are above.  Purchasing additional land and/or further developing this parcel will to be determined by the membership.

Long Term Goals

One possible long term plan for Many Oaks is to have a few properties spread across the country, every 10 hours drive or so.  Members could move across the country and stay on Many Oaks land in many places.
