GROWING CORN
Several years ago I read the book "The Hopi Prophecies".
As I remember the ending of the book, it said that if you learn to grow corn and pray, then everything will be OK. There
are many reasons that I feel this is an essential part of the Sage Valley experience. We will be learning and experimenting
with every kind of self sufficient gardening technique that we can find.
We will be talking with Traditional Elders and with scientists
to learn and apply everything that we can to growing crops in a high desert enviornment.
This real connection with the land and with the process
of life unfolding in the plants that will feed us; will give us amazing lessons and insights into the true nature of this
duality.
